All Axe UMC activities cancelled for December 31st

Due to the harsh weather forecast for the Garland area for Sunday, December 31, 2017, the Administrative Board has decided to cancel all activities for this day.

There will be NO Church service or Sunday School on the 31st. Please help us communicate this decision. Many do not check their e-mails regularly. Please contact those in your Sunday school class by phone. Text if you can, but ask for a confirmation. There will be notices posted on the main doors to all the buildings. We do not want people to get ready and make the trip only to find out that all events have been cancelled. 

There is a very good possibility that Axe, acting as a Garland warming station, will be active Mon. through Wed. Please pray for the homeless and the volunteers who will be helping them during that time. Have a very happy new year……………
