Pastor’s Blog
Pastor Levy Laguardia was appointed as the Pastor of Axe Memorial UMC in January 2018 along with his loving wife, Terry. He was born and raised in the Philippines, entering the ministry after high school. He was ordained in the United Methodist Church in the Philippines and moved to the United States in 1986 to pursue his theological education. He was appointed to serve his first congregation in North Texas in 1991. Levy loves to read and travel. He enjoys meeting new friends and learning about other cultures and countries. Levy is married to Terry, an elementary school teacher by vocation, and his dear partner in ministry. They have two grown children, Mark and Sherry.
