The Axe Memorial United Methodist Church of Garland invites everyone to come out for our 5th Annual Fall Festival Chili Cook-Off and Trunk or Treat Halloween Celebration.
There will be Games & Prizes for everyone as well as a $5 Chili Dinner where you can try some award-winning homemade chili from our church members.
This family-friendly event will take place on Saturday, October 27th from 5 - 7 pm. We will have a parking lot full of festive trunks for the kids to trick or treat in a safe environment and having fun playing games.
Chili Contestants: Please bring your chili up to the church heated and ready by 4:15. Judges will begin at 4:30. Dinner will be served from 5:00-6:00 and at 4:30 for those running the trunk-0r-treat who wish to eat early. Please provide a serving spoon for your chili.
If you are providing a car for trunk-or-treat, please have it decorated and provide enough candy for around 200 kids. Please have your car set up and ready by 4:45 pm. You may also provide a fun game at your car if you wish. We will not have bounce houses this year so games would be cool!
If you wish to eat chili, you may eat before at 4:30, or take turns with your helper to eat during the event. Chili is $5 per person.
